Ingredients

  • Season mixture for the shrimp
  • 2 teaspoon italian seasoning

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • Dash of pepper

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons of butter or ghee

  • 1 lb shrimp, deveined and remove the tail.

  • Mushroom sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 10 oz. White mushrooms, cut in slices

  • 1/3 cup basil pesto

  • 1/4 dry white wine

  • 2 cloves of garlic , minced

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper

  • 1 tablespoon of parsley

Directions

  • In a bowl make the seasoning mixture and add the shrimp; let it rest for 30 min.
  • Cook your shrimp but leave drippings in the pan.
  • Saute mushrooms then add the liquids and seasonings to it. Cook for about 10 minutes then add the shrimp back to the pan.
  • Cook for another 10 min.

Notes

  • You can add parmesan cheese for the shrimp to have cheesy taste
  • Add pasta, cauliflower, mashed potato or rice to the pesto shrimp and mushrooms
