I love cranberry sauce with my turkey and chicken but the ones in the cans there is so much sugar that I stopped eating it. So I finally made it for the holidays and I freeze it. Now I can take the cranberry sauce and use it for any of my dishes I want to add as a side or put in a dish.

Homemade Cranberry Sauce is great for the holidays and everyday. Low carb and low in sugar.
12 ounces fresh cranberries
1 cup sweetener
1 cup water
1 teaspoon orange zest or lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
- Melt sweetener in the water then add the cranberries
- Cook in high till cranberries burst the reduce heat and simmer for another 15 to 20 min. Taste it and you can add another tablespoon if needed.
- You can make ahead of time store in a glass jar for 2 months.
