Yummy Frostings or Fillings Alternatives

Coconut Whipped Frosting/Filling

  • 1-2 cans of coconut milk (canned one that need to be in the frig up to 48 hours to harden)
  • 1/4 cup maple
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1- 2 cups of powered sugar

Pumpkin Frosting

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups of powered sweeten

Replace 1 stick of butter with 1/2 cup of shortening to make the frosting more stable especially if its warm climate or out too long

Buttercream Vegan Frosting

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) vegan margarine
  • 1 tablespoon non dairy milk
  • 3 cups of powered sweetener
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Chocolate Frosting

  • 1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips, melted ( melt with the coconut oil then add the other ingredients)
  • 1/4 cup of milk or non dairy milk ( no canned coconut)
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup powered sweetener
