We love cornbread and made this for our dairy-free viewers.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups of cornmeal

  • ¾ cups of gluten free flour

  • 1 ¼ cups of non dairy free milk (almond, rice, soy, cashew, oat milk)

  • ½ cup vegetable oil*

  • 3 tablespoons honey

  • 3 tablespoons sugar or any natural sweetener

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Directions

  • Preheat 350
  • Combine your try ingredients then add your wet ingredients after
  • Stir everything well and pour into a greased 10’ iron skillet or loaf pan
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes

Notes

  • * You can replace vegetable oil with unsweetened applesauce
