I love recipe for the holiday and as side dish to go with chicken and turkey or just by itself.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 lb of ground sausage

  • 2 celery stalks, diced

  • ½ cup of onions, diced

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup to ½ cup chicken stock

  • 1 tablespoon sage

  • 1 tablespoon rosemary

  • 1 tablespoon thyme

  • 1 tablespoon parsley

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 ½ cups of cornbread – cut into small squares

Directions

  • Preheat oven 400
  • Grab your skillet and add the olive oil to it
  • Cook your sausage thoroughly
  • Add your minced garlic, diced onions and celery
  • Keep stirring till the onion and celery are translucent
  • Add your seasonings and broth
  • Stir for another 10 min
  • Fold in cornbread then add to deep dish.
  • Put it in the oven for 15 minutes and ready to serve
