I have seen this recipe in Pinterest and a friend of mine made over the holidays and the family loved it. I wanted to eat it but I know I would get sick. This didn’t stop me and made this keto for me and for you.

This Cinnamon Cream Cheese Roll-Ups recipe is a simple process that yields an amazing churro-like treat. 20 minutes in the oven (if you can wait that long) to dig in to these! 


I went to Aldi’s and grabbed my favorite keto breads. I get my bagels, bread and varies products that I can eat and I don’t miss eating bread like before.

Steps to make the roll ups

  1. Get prepped
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and slice the crusts off the bread
  • Lay out 2 shallow dishes

2. Flatten the bread and mix up the filling and coating

  • Using a rolling pin, flatten the bread out.
  • Combine the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Combine the sugar and cinnamon until well combined and add to one of the shallow dishes. In the other, add the melted butter.

3. Assemble

  • Spread each slice of bread thickly with the cream cheese mixture.
  • Roll up tightly
  • Dip in the butter.
  • Then dip the sugar and place on a baking sheet crease down. You can toothpicks to keep it in place

4. Bake

  • Bake for 20 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Devour

TIPS & NOTES:

How about a variation?

Cooked apples, diced small are awesome inside these, or maybe Raspberries, Blueberries, Nutella. Even peaches!

Can I make these ahead?

Actually, yes. I made these again, baked them – and then let them cool. They were great reheated in the oven – only took 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 15-18 slices bread (any kind)

  • 6 oz cream cheese , softened

  • 1/2 cup substitute powdered sugar

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup butter , melted

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Slice the crusts off the bread
  • Using a rolling pin, flatten the bread out.
