Chinese Marinates

I love Chinese food but unfortunately some of the food is not gluten free. Sometimes it’s hard to find something that I can eat and not be worried it has been cross contaminated. So, the best thing is making my own. Its cost effective, easy to make and its delicious.

All the products I use, I have found them in grocery stores, Walmart, Amazon and other various online stores.

Marinated meats: Garlic Chicken Marinate, Teriyaki Boneless Pork Marinate, Chinese BBQ Boneless Pork Marinate, Mongolian Beef Marinate (left to right)

Mongolian Beef Marinate

These are easy to make, you just need to give it a day or two to soak in the marinade, trust me it makes it that much better! Broiling in the oven ensures the crispy and caramelized outer edges everybody loves, and a tender, juicy, and moist chicken, pork or beef meat on the inside. I also sauté it in a woke if you are cooking chicken or shrimp.

How to make stir fry from scratch

You just need to follow these 4 steps, you will have a quick, healthy, and delicious dinner. And you will cook just like the Chinese restaurant style.

  1. Marinade meat. Marinate the meat with all the ingredients and mix them well. Marinate it for at least 24 hours. If you are doing it on the same day, let it marinate for at least an hour.
  2. Air fry or roast the meat. To roast in oven, 425 degrees covered for 30 to 35 minutes than uncover till the meat is crisped around. Air Fryer would be at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
  3. Cook your vegetables, rice or noodles to go with your food.
  4. Combine and ready to eat!!
